My name is Michael Buban, and I work as a Global University National Representative in the Czech Republic. I have a beautiful wife, three kids, and a wonderful life thanks to God's mercy and ceaseless provision. I am a Christian. I believe that Jesus's death on the cross means victory over the evil around us, in us, and beyond death.

My lifelong commitment is to read the Bible and to think about faith. “Selah” is this project’s diary. It was named after the Hebrew word sęlâ, which was used in ancient Israelite liturgy. It means something like “stop, listen, and take it seriously”. It is that moment between the text and its confession.
