| 5 Now send men to Joppa for a certain Simon who is called Peter; | 5 et nunc mitte viros in Ioppen et accersi Simonem quendam qui cognominatur Petrus |
| 6 he is lodging with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the seaside." | 6 hic hospitatur apud Simonem quendam coriarium cuius est domus iuxta mare |
Když anděl, který k němu mluvil, odešel, zavolal dva ze domácích sluhů a zbožného vojáka, z těch, zůstávali věrně při něm, | 7 ὡς δὲ ἀπῆλθεν ὁ ἄγγελος ὁ λαλῶν αὐτῷ, φωνήσας δύο τῶν οἰκετῶν καὶ στρατιώτην εὐσεβῆ τῶν προσκαρτερούντων αὐτῷ, | 7 Cum a plecat îngerul, care vorbise cu el, Corneliu a chemat douã din slugile sale, şi un ostaş cucernic din aceia care-i slujeau în tot timpul; | 7 When the angel who spoke to him had left, he called two of his slaves and a devout soldier from the ranks of those who served him, | 7 et cum discessisset angelus qui loquebatur illi vocavit duos domesticos suos et militem metuentem Dominum ex his qui illi parebant |
všechno jim vysvětlil a poslal je do Joppe. | 8 and after telling them everything, he sent them to Joppa. | 8 quibus cum narrasset omnia misit illos in Ioppen |
| 9 About noon the next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray.
Pe când îi pregãteau mâncarea, a cãzut într-o rãpire sufleteascã. | 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat; and while it was being prepared, he fell into a trance.
| 11 He saw the heaven opened and something like a large sheet coming down, being lowered to the ground by its four corners.
V ní byli všichni čtvernožci, , zemští plazi i nebeští ptáci. | 12 In it were all kinds of four-footed creatures and reptiles and birds of the air. | 12 in quo erant omnia quadrupedia et serpentia terrae et volatilia caeli |
I zazněl k němu hlas: „Vstaň, Petře, zabíjej a jez!“ | 13 καὶ ἐγένετο φωνὴ πρὸς αὐτόν, Ἀναστάς, Πέτρε, θῦσον καὶ φάγε. | 13 Si un glas i-a zis: "Petre, scoalã-te, taie şi mãnâncã." | 13 Then he heard a voice saying, "Get up, Peter; kill and eat."
| 14 "Nicidecum, Doamne" a rãspuns Petru. "Cãci niciodatã n-am mâncat ceva spurcat sau necurat." | 14 But Peter said, "By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is profane or unclean."
A opět k němu hlas podruhé: „Co Bůh očistil, ty nepokládej za poskvrněné!“ | 15 καὶ φωνὴ πάλιν ἐκ δευτέρου πρὸς αὐτόν, Ἃ ὁ θεὸς ἐκαθάρισεν σὺ μὴ κοίνου. | 15 Si glasul i-a zis iarãşi a doua oarã: "Ce a curãţit Dumnezeu, sã nu numeşti spurcat." | 15 The voice said to him again, a second time, "What God has made clean, you must not call profane."
| 16 This happened three times, and the thing was suddenly taken up to heaven.
Zatímco byl Petr na rozpacích, co by to vidění, které spatřil, mohlo znamenat, hle, muži poslaní Kornéliem se doptali na Šimonův dům a dorazili k bráně, | 17 Ὡς δὲ ἐν ἑαυτῷ διηπόρει ὁ Πέτρος τί ἂν εἴη τὸ ὅραμα ὃ εἶδεν, ἰδοὺ οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ ἀπεσταλμένοι ὑπὸ τοῦ Κορνηλίου διερωτήσαντες τὴν οἰκίαν τοῦ Σίμωνος ἐπέστησαν ἐπὶ τὸν πυλῶνα, | 17 Pe când Petru nu ştia ce sã creadã despre înţelesul vedeniei pe care o avusese, iatã cã, oamenii trimeşi de Corneliu, întrebînd de casa lui Simon, au stat la poartã, | 17 Now while Peter was greatly puzzled about what to make of the vision that he had seen, suddenly the men sent by Cornelius appeared. They were asking for Simon's house and were standing by the gate.
zavolali a vyptávali se, je-li tu hostem Šimon zvaný Petr. | 18 They called out to ask whether Simon, who was called Peter, was staying there.
| 19 τοῦ δὲ Πέτρου διενθυμουμένου περὶ τοῦ ὁράματος εἶπεν αὐτῷ τὸ πνεῦμα, Ἰδοὺ ἄνδρες τρεῖς ζητοῦντές σε· | 19 Si pe când se gândea Petru la vedenia aceea, Duhul i-a zis: "Iatã cã te cautã trei oameni; | 19 While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, "Look, three men are searching for you.
| 20 Now get up, go down, and go with them without hesitation; for I have sent them."
Petr tedy sešel dolů k těm mužům a řekl: „Hle, já jsem , kterého hledáte. Co důvodem vašeho příchodu?“ | 21 καταβὰς δὲ Πέτρος πρὸς τοὺς ἄνδρας εἶπεν, Ἰδοὺ ἐγώ εἰμι ὃν ζητεῖτε· τίς ἡ αἰτία δι' ἣν πάρεστε; | 21 Petru, deci, s-a pogorât şi a zis oamenilor acelora: "Eu Sunt acela, pe care-l cãutaţi; ce pricinã vã aduce?" | 21 So Peter went down to the men and said, "I am the one you are looking for; what is the reason for your coming?"
Oni řekli: „Setník Kornélius, muž spravedlivý, který se bojí Boha a celý židovský národ vydává svědectví, dostal pokyn od svatého anděla, aby tě pozval do svého domu a vyslechl tvá slova.“ | 22 οἱ δὲ εἶπαν, Κορνήλιος ἑκατοντάρχης, ἀνὴρ δίκαιος καὶ φοβούμενος τὸν θεὸν μαρτυρούμενός τε ὑπὸ ὅλου τοῦ ἔθνους τῶν Ἰουδαίων, ἐχρηματίσθη ὑπὸ ἀγγέλου ἁγίου μεταπέμψασθαί σε εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀκοῦσαι ῥήματα παρὰ σοῦ. | 22 They answered, "Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and God-fearing man, who is well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and to hear what you have to say."
Druhého dne vstal a vyšel s nimi, i někteří bratři z Joppe šli s ním. | 23 Petru, deci, i-a chemat înãuntru, şi i-a gãzduit. | 23 So Peter invited them in and gave them lodging. The next day he got up and went with them, and some of the believers from Joppa accompanied him.
Nazítří vešli do Cesareje. Kornélius je očekával; svolal své příbuzné a nejbližší přátele. | 24 The following day they came to Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. | 24 altera autem die introivit Caesaream Cornelius vero expectabat illos convocatis cognatis suis et necessariis amicis |
Když Petr vstupoval, Kornélius mu vyšel vstříc, padl k nohám a poklonil se. | 25 Când era sã intre Petru, Corneliu, care-i ieşise înainte, s-a aruncat la picioarele lui, şi i s-a închinat. | 25 On Peter's arrival Cornelius met him, and falling at his feet, worshiped him.
Petr ho pozdvihl a řekl: „Vstaň! i já jsem člověk.“ | 26 ὁ δὲ Πέτρος ἤγειρεν αὐτὸν λέγων, Ἀνάστηθι· καὶ ἐγὼ αὐτὸς ἄνθρωπός εἰμι. | 26 Dar Petru l-a ridicat şi a zis: "Scoalã-te, şi eu Sunt om!" | 26 But Peter made him get up, saying, "Stand up; I am only a mortal." | 26 Petrus vero levavit eum dicens surge et ego ipse homo sum |
Za hovoru s ním vešel a nalezl mnoho shromážděných . | 27 καὶ συνομιλῶν αὐτῷ εἰσῆλθεν, καὶ εὑρίσκει συνεληλυθότας πολλούς, | 27 Si vorbind cu el, a intrat în casã, şi a gãsit adunaţi pe mulţi. | 27 And as he talked with him, he went in and found that many had assembled; | 27 et loquens cum illo intravit et invenit multos qui convenerant |
| 28 and he said to them, "You yourselves know that it is unlawful for a Jew to associate with or to visit a Gentile; but God has shown me that I should not call anyone profane or unclean.
Ptám se tedy, z jakého důvodu jste mne pozvali.“ | 29 διὸ καὶ ἀναντιρρήτως ἦλθον μεταπεμφθείς. πυνθάνομαι οὖν τίνι λόγῳ μετεπέμψασθέ με; | 29 De aceea am venit fãrã cîrtire când m-aţi chemat; vã întreb, deci, cu ce gând aţi trimis dupã mine?" | 29 So when I was sent for, I came without objection. Now may I ask why you sent for me?" | 29 propter quod sine dubitatione veni accersitus interrogo ergo quam ob causam accersistis me |
A Kornélius odpověděl: „Před čtyřmi dny jsem se postil do této hodiny a o deváté hodině jsem se modlil ve svém domě, a hle, přede mnou stál muž v zářivém rouchu | 30 καὶ ὁ Κορνήλιος ἔφη, Ἀπὸ τετάρτης ἡμέρας μέχρι ταύτης τῆς ὥρας ἤμην τὴν ἐνάτην προσευχόμενος ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ μου, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ ἔστη ἐνώπιόν μου ἐν ἐσθῆτι λαμπρᾷ | 30 Corneliu a rãspuns: "Acum patru zile, chiar în clipa aceasta, mã rugam în casa mea la ceasul al nouãlea; şi iatã cã a stat înaintea mea un om cu o hainã strãlucitoare, | 30 Cornelius replied, "Four days ago at this very hour, at three o'clock, I was praying in my house when suddenly a man in dazzling clothes stood before me. | 30 et Cornelius ait a nudius quartana die usque in hanc horam orans eram hora nona in domo mea et ecce vir stetit ante me in veste candida et ait |
a řekl: ‚Kornélie, tvá modlitba byla vyslyšena a tvé skutky milosrdenství byly vzpomenuty před Bohem. | 31 He said, 'Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God.
| 32 Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon, who is called Peter; he is staying in the home of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.' | 32 mitte ergo in Ioppen et accersi Simonem qui cognominatur Petrus hic hospitatur in domo Simonis coriarii iuxta mare |
| 33 Therefore I sent for you immediately, and you have been kind enough to come. So now all of us are here in the presence of God to listen to all that the Lord has commanded you to say." | 33 confestim igitur misi ad te et tu bene fecisti veniendo nunc ergo omnes nos in conspectu tuo adsumus audire omnia quaecumque tibi praecepta sunt a Domino |
Petr otevřel ústa a řekl: „Opravdu chápu, že Bůh nikomu nestraní, | 34 Ἀνοίξας δὲ Πέτρος τὸ στόμα εἶπεν, Ἐπ' ἀληθείας καταλαμβάνομαι ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν προσωπολήμπτης ὁ θεός, | 34 Atunci Petru a început sã vorbeascã şi a zis: "În adevãr, vãd cã Dumnezeu nu este pãrtinitor, | 34 Then Peter began to speak to them: "I truly understand that God shows no partiality, | 34 aperiens autem Petrus os dixit in veritate conperi quoniam non est personarum acceptor Deus |
| 35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.
To slovo, které poslal synům Izraele, když zvěstoval pokoj skrze Ježíše Krista – on je Pánem všech. | 36 τὸν λόγον ὃν ἀπέστειλεν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ εὐαγγελιζόμενος εἰρήνην διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ οὗτός ἐστιν πάντων κύριος | 36 El a trimis Cuvântul Sãu fiilor lui Israel, şi le-a vestit Evanghelia pãcii, prin Isus Hristos, care este Domnul tuturor. | 36 You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ-- he is Lord of all.
| 37 ὑμεῖς οἴδατε, τὸ γενόμενον ῥῆμα καθ' ὅλης τῆς Ἰουδαίας, ἀρξάμενος ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας μετὰ τὸ βάπτισμα ὃ ἐκήρυξεν Ἰωάννης, | 37 Stiţi vorba fãcutã prin toatã Iudea, începând din Galilea, în urma botezului propovãduit de Ioan; | 37 That message spread throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John announced: | 37 vos scitis quod factum est verbum per universam Iudaeam incipiens enim a Galilaea post baptismum quod praedicavit Iohannes |
Jak Bůh pomazal Duchem Svatým a mocí Ježíše, toho z Nazareta, jenž procházel , činil dobře a uzdravoval všechny, kteří trpěli pod mocí Ďábla, protože Bůh byl s ním. | 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power; how he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. | 38 Iesum a Nazareth quomodo unxit eum Deus Spiritu Sancto et virtute qui pertransivit benefaciendo et sanando omnes oppressos a diabolo quoniam Deus erat cum illo |
